Dr. Charles W. Stryker, Data Innovator of the Year, Joins DataMentors Board

Dr. Stryker, a leader in the Big Data field,  joins Brook portfolio company DataMentors’ Board

TAMPA, FL – April 9, 2014 – DataMentors, LLC, a full-service data quality, data management and business intelligence provider, today announced that Dr. Charles Stryker, recently named Data Innovator of the Year, has joined its board.

Dr. Stryker is Chairman & CEO of Venture Development Center, Inc., the preeminent advisors to firms in the information services industry for all aspects of their strategy and business development activities. VDC has advised many of the traditional market leaders in the space, as well as guiding over 150 early stage firms that include many of the market leaders.

Dr. Stryker was named Data Innovator of the Year by the Data Innovators Group at the 2014 Direct Marketing Club of New York & Data Innovators Group Leadership Summit.

Dr. Stryker has received the BS and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering and the Ph.D. in Computer Science from New York University. He has been an active speaker and author on the topic of database product development. In addition to these academic credentials, from 1991 to 1999 Dr. Stryker was a part time faculty member at the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School where he taught a number of courses in their Entrepreneurial Center.
