Brook Portfolio Company Medical Mastermind Acquires Physician Data Management

Medical Mastermind, a provider of revenue cycle management (RCM) software and services to US healthcare providers, announced today that it has acquired Physician Data Management (PDM) of St. Louis, MO, a leading RCM service provider focused exclusively on pathology laboratories. The PDM acquisition strengthens the Company’s RCM platform and accelerates the Company’s specific focus within the pathology laboratory segment.

PDM will serve as the pathology laboratory center of excellence within Medical Mastermind under the continued leadership of founder Michael Ferrie, an industry-recognized expert in private pathology practices and pathology/clinical laboratories. PDM will maintain all its employees in its current St. Louis office and will continue to operate under the PDM brand as a wholly owned subsidiary of Medical Mastermind. PDM’s clients range from small practices to large independent reference labs located nationwide.
