Brook Donates to The Elizabeth Stone House

For the 2017 holiday season, Brook sponsored resident families at The Elizabeth Stone House. The Brook team put together holiday gift packages for each family which contained a range of items from kitchenware to toys. Brook also collected diapers and toiletries for children at The Elizabeth Stone House shelter.

The Elizabeth Stone House was founded in 1974 as a residential alternative to institutionalized women. The residential services expanded and shelter and transitional housing is now provided to victims of domestic violence. The Elizabeth Stone House offers wrap-around support services which teach practical skills that help promote self-sufficiency. Services such as financial literacy and parenting classes help clients develop resources that stabilize their personal lives so that clients will be able to live both competently and independently.
