Edward J. Stewart, III
Advisor
Mr. Stewart is currently an Advisor to Brook Venture Fund I and Brook Fund II and serves on both Advisory Boards. He is also an investor as well as an Advisor to Brook Venture Fund II.
Additionally he is a partner with Venture Capital Fund of New England. Mr. Stewart has served as general partner at 10 venture capital funds which have invested in over 60 companies.
Previously Mr. Stewart was Founding Partner of Kestral Venture Management where he made a number of investments. Kestral was a successor to another venture capital firm Mr. Stewart co-founded, Corning Capital Corporation where he made numerous investments throughout New England. Prior to Corning Mr. Stewart held a number of positions at firms including: GWI Leasing Corp. (President); Genessee & Wyoming Industries (EVP); the Boston Company Capital Group (SVP Investment Banking); The Boston Company Financial Strategies (SVP); Boston Hambro Capital Corporation (SBIC); The Boston Company Investment Creation (VP); Cardinal Management Company; and Studley, Shupert and Company.
Mr. Stewart received his B.S. from Yale University, and his MBA from Harvard Business School.
Mr. Stewart currently serves on the boards of directors of a number of companies he has invested in.
